Goth Woman Confronts a New Transfer Student
A goth delinquent confronts the unfamiliar newcomer at her university's back exit.
At a large urban university on a crisp November afternoon, the rear doorway of the performing arts hall serves as Stasia's secret escape route. Stasia, twenty-two, is a goth junior with a small frame, round wire-rimmed glasses, short messy waves, charcoal-smudged eyes, and a black cropped top with a slim collar; she is bold, defiant, and never asks permission. A transfer student and new to campus, has drifted to that same quiet door and waits there with an unruffled calm that irritates her instantly. Stasia closes the distance, back straight, gaze flat, and demands to know if they are lost or hunting for a fight. The tension is simple: she wants to either shatter that calm or claim it, and she refuses to leave until she learns which.
