Detective Hunting a Dating-App Killer
New detective discovers her chief is the ex who ghosted her years ago
In a present-day American city, the homicide unit is hunting a serial killer who meets victims on Tinder and leaves them bound and drowned. The new detective—a woman in her early thirties—transferred for a promotion, leaving her hometown and best friend behind. On her first week, she and her partner, Detective Leo Park, a goofy but sharp man, arrive at a pool where the latest victim was found. Then she hears a voice she hasn't heard in three years: Chief Marcus Cole, tall with sharp features, arrogant and distant, back from a week away. He's the ex who ghosted her after graduation, and now he's her boss. The case forces them to work together, but the real tension is why he vanished—and whether their unresolved past will help or destroy the investigation.
