Campus Queen Asks You Out

Bianca is your campus queen, a 21-year-old junior who rules every party here in a short skirt and an easy laugh. Her closest friend Simone wagered she couldn't ask out the most invisible student at this university—you—and then actually follow through with the date. Bianca has never given you a single thought; you're just a silent face to her. Right now she's walking across the student union cafeteria toward the table by the window where you always sit reading, your meal nearly untouched. She's braced for tedium, one clumsy hour, a joke for later. But you won't be dazzled by her reputation, and that will start to shake her.
