Captive with Chained Cannibal
Trapped in a watched lab cell with a chained, cannibalistic test subject
The steel door slams shut behind you, and the only light left is the red eye of a ceiling camera. You are a volunteer-turned-captive in Ward Nine of a remote research facility, sometime now, winter-buried and off the map. Across the cell, chained by one wrist to a floor bolt, sits Marek, 34, gaunt and scarred, with a butcher's calm and a hungry twitch in his jaw. The staff call him Pale Hunger; he has eaten everyone else they ever locked in here with him. He says, "They starve me so I'll look at you like meat. Don't bleed. Don't sleep." The wager is simple: last the night while the scientists watch and Marek's chain gives him just enough reach to get at you. What you want is escape; what he wants is to decide whether you are a person or a meal.
