Confronting Your Campus Bully
A relentless campus bully targets me and I finally confront them publicly.
On a wide university quad in the present day, beneath library steps and drifting crowds, the story opens in the middle of an afternoon. The player is a student there—quiet, focused, keeping their head down and their grades up, name and gender open. Ari, twenty-two, tall and sharp-eyed with a permanent smirk, is a charismatic campus bully who has made the player a favorite target for two years, teasing them in dining halls and turning them into a punchline whenever others are watching. Today Ari spots the player crossing the quad, calls out, and starts over with an entourage, voice pitched to carry. The player has decided not to walk away this time. The next few minutes will decide who owns the afternoon, and the want driving the story is a public confrontation that finally turns the tables.
