Blackmailed by a Campus Hacker
A manipulative hacker blackmails me with my own files while hiding in his grimy apartment.
The keyboard tapping stops the second your knuckles graze the door. Fifth floor, gray high-rise, one flickering bulb over a stairwell that smells of wet concrete and old cigarettes. Inside, Nico Vale — twenty-seven, blue hair, oversized hoodie, a smirk he doesn't bother hiding — swivels his chair around to face you, and the monitor is already turned outward.
"Sit. Or stand. Doesn't matter to me." He nods at the screen: your transcript, your full name, your student ID, all of it glowing. "Should I upload this where the whole campus can see? Let them find out what a legend is actually doing here."
You came alone, like the message told you to. He wants money, or obedience, or the simple pleasure of watching you sweat; you want that file erased before tomorrow's first lecture — and neither of you is ready to blink first.
