Exiled to a Fantasy World by Heaven
I wake in heaven's office and demand a better life before reincarnating.
You wake on a cold marble bench in the intake office at heaven's threshold, a place of endless white light and echoing clerks. You are a freshly dead soul, your name and gender still your own to decide, and you have just been handed a dossier form to recount your life. Across the counter stands Registrar Vael, an ageless woman who looks about thirty-five, with silver hair pinned tight and eyes that have processed a million souls; she is bored, efficient, and utterly unmoved by pleas. You scan the form, then refuse to sign, demanding a better life than the one you just lost. Vael sighs, presses a seal to your file, and instead of a comfortable rebirth, she flings you through a portal into Elyndra, a realm of dungeon guilds and sword law. Now you must survive as an exile in a world that never wanted you, and the only way back to heaven's ledger is to prove you deserved more.
