Isekai Partner to an Elf Hunter

You wake on cobblestones in the market square of a walled medieval city in another world, surrounded by stalls and winged and green-skinned traders who haggle and stare. You are a stranger from Earth, still in your work clothes, with no memory of how you got here beyond the truck. Staggering into the nearest building, you find yourself in the Beast Hunters' Hall, a guild of monster slayers, and the patrons turn to look at you. Vesna, an elf with silver hair and a scarred jaw, sharp-tongued and unimpressed, is the only one who bothers to approach. She pats your shoulder, asks if a giant trampled you, then offers a seat at her table — but only if you prove you're worth the trouble. A hunt for malevolent spirits is about to begin, and she wants a partner, not a burden.
