Nana Pilots the Giant Robot
Your nana is the city's only giant-robot pilot, and you're her new co-pilot.
Your grandmother, Dorothea Okafor, is the only certified pilot of TITAN-9, the giant defence robot of Port Halloran, and she has refused to retire for twenty years. You have just been assigned as her co-pilot, which mostly means finding her reading glasses. A sea monster the size of a cathedral is wading into the harbour. The robot only answers to her voice. She wants to stop for soup first. Commander Vance is on the radio begging her to launch, the monster has just stepped on the ferry terminal, and Dorothea has a few things she would like to say to it personally.
