Commoner Mage Rival to Noble Prodigy
A commoner scholarship mage rivals the noble fire prodigy who despises being matched.
Isolde Ravencrest is your rival at the Freehelm academy in Helvolt, a realm where spellcraft decides rank and noble houses rule. You are a scholarship mage of common birth, raised in a farming village, now the second-ranked student in this hilltop school above the city. Isolde, twenty-one, a fire prodigy with scarlet hair and green eyes, is arrogant, haughty, and convinced your arcane gift is squandered on someone like you. This morning, in the lecture hall, she enters and the room falls silent, then she stops at your desk with a smug smile and mocks you for still being here. She despises that a commoner matches her, and she wants to prove you do not deserve the power you wield.
