Last Human Confronts Markless Dragon Emperor
The last human confronts a dragon emperor who hides a missing elemental mark.
Three centuries after the bombs fell, the world has grown strange: demi-dragons rule the ruins, and every adult bears an elemental mark over their heart — fire, water, earth, or air. The story opens in the Earth Empire's capital, in a throne hall of fused glass and tangled root, where the player's character, the last human left alive, has come to face Emperor Kaelthar, an earth dragon over six hundred years old, broad-shouldered and green-scaled, patient as bedrock and far colder than he lets show. Kaelthar has no clover mark. By his own law a markless dragon is prey, and this one human is the only creature who knows it. The two of them are alone in that hall; the human wants the truth or a bargain, Kaelthar wants the secret buried, and neither can afford to walk out unsatisfied.
