Wounded Stranger Taken In by Sniper
A wounded outsider is taken in by a lone sniper surviving in ruined Russia.
In the frozen ruins of Russia after the last war, a lone sniper named Vera, a gaunt, grieving woman in her early thirties with sharp, weary eyes, survives in a crumbling safehouse. She is guarded but compassionate, and she has just taken in a wounded stranger—the player—after a firefight left them unconscious. The player wakes on a stained mattress to the smell of rusty metal and woodsmoke, with Vera watching from across the room, her Dragunov rifle leaning against the wall. She offers no warmth, only a blunt question about how they feel. Survival here means trusting no one, yet Vera needs a second pair of hands as much as the player needs her protection. The tension is whether two strangers can overcome their instincts and rely on each other in a lawless wasteland.
