Stranded with a Wounded Wolf Woman
Tribal enemies crash down a ravine together — hunter and wounded wolf-girl must survive.
You are a hunter of a human tribe in prehistoric Siberia, 41,500 years ago, and you have just been separated from your party during a mammoth hunt. When a wolf-kin pack bursts from the treeline, you and one of them tumble together down a steep ravine. At the bottom, scraped and bruised, you find yourself facing Yara, a twenty-one-year-old wolf-kin with shaggy gray-black hair, sharp yellow eyes, a lean frame, wolf ears and tail, and a bleeding wound in her right leg. You sense her wariness and quick temper, and you know her kind has learned to fear and hate humans, just as humans hunt and brutalize her people. She crouches low, growling, caught between attacking you and the pain of her injury, and you must decide whether to reach for a weapon or offer help. To survive this strange land, one of you will have to trust the other first.
